Mentor/Sponsor of the Year Award

Dr Doirean Wilson is Diversity Lead and HRM Senior Lecturer at Middlesex University London. She developed a unique Equality, Diversity and Inclusion international Module, which alongside her insights has influenced key stakeholders to support proposed diversity projects and her legacy work. This support has enabled Doirean to successfully implement initiatives across a large complex organisation, with 39,000 students studying nationally and internationally, with more than 1800 staff. Doirean is also Chair of the Nubian Jak Community Trust, an organisation that aims to foster understanding between people from diverse backgrounds. In addition, Doirean is a Diversity Advisory Board member for GUBA (Ghana UK Based Achievement Awards); and a life-long UK founding member & Advisory board member of the ‘Women’s Executive Network’ (WXN) that inspires women to lead by delivering innovative networking, professional and personal development opportunities in the pursuit of excellence.
