Loraine is the Global EDI Director at Arup, a leading sustainable development company, where she is at the forefront of driving equity, diversity, and inclusion on a global scale. With a career spanning high-impact roles, Loraine is uniquely positioned to offer invaluable insights into the transformative power of inclusive leadership.

Her track record speaks for itself: as the former Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Network Rail, she spent a decade leading change across one of Europe’s fastest-growing rail networks, embedding inclusion into its very fabric. Prior to that, Loraine was instrumental in delivering the award-winning inclusion and skills programme for the London 2012 Olympics, work that earned her an MBE. These experiences have honed her expertise in leading teams and organisations towards cultures where diversity thrives, and everyone feels they belong.

But Loraine’s influence doesn’t stop there. As vice chair of the Trust for London, she spearheaded campaigns like the London Living Wage, tackling inequality at its root. She has also been recognised as one of the top 100 women influencing engineering in the UK and received the Mike Nichols Award for her contributions to transformational change.
