Facilitated by Dr Richard Rieser OBE
In recognition of this year’s theme, “Disability Livelihood and Employment,” this webinar aims to deepen Disability History awareness within our network and provide insights into the current state and future of disability inclusion in the workplace. The recent government mandate on Disability Pay Gap reporting has sparked conversations, with many anticipating positive change through increased transparency, while others express concerns about its implications. This session will delve into the historical context of the disability pay gap, examine systemic barriers to fair wages, and explore the contributions and advocacy of disabled individuals in the workforce.
