This webinar will cover:

  • Understand antisemitism and how it can manifest, including harmful tropes and stereotypes about Jewish people that are the most prevalent in society at large.
  • The details of the recent research into the scale of antisemitism globally and in the UK, and specifically in the workplace here in the UK. This indicates where to focus initiatives for the most supportive and positive impact.
  • Learn what organisations can do in practical terms to ensure they are deliberately inclusive and supportive of their Jewish staff, including tackling antisemitism effectively and ensuring that anti-racism initiatives includingantisemitism.
  • Practical tips for supporting staff experiencing antisemitism, and for staff wishing to better support their Jewish colleagues as active allies.
  • Please note that this webinar will not be political nor take a view on what is happening in the Israel/Hamas conflict. Any attempts to divert the conversation in this direction will be closed down. The focus will be on organisational support and inclusion needs for Jewish staff. All are warmly invited to attend.

About the facilitator 

As a multi-award winning speaker, trainer and coach, with a background in psychology, a decade in investments and a further decade coaching senior women on confidence and leadership, Harriet Waley-Cohen supports organisations to recruit and retain the best female talent; to shift their culture to one of outstanding allyship and to get a genuine ROI on their gender-focused initiatives.

She is known for leading the more uncomfortable conversations about what is holding women back, including tackling the sexualisation of women in the workplace. Her ‘sexist WTF of the week’ posts often go viral on LinkedIn.

As a Jewish woman, Harriet also offers training on Jewish inclusion and tackling antsemitism in the workplace. She hosts online support sessions for professional Jewish women based in the UK specifically focusing on tackling and dealing with antisemitism.

She sometimes also works with schools to deliver training on tackling sexism and misogyny, including internalised misogyny.
