About the speaker

RuthRuth steggles daughter developed an eating disorder at twelve. After her daughter’s recovery,Ruth trained as a coach and later a Positive Psychologist. Specialising in mental andemotional well-being, she now specialises in working with parents who have a child with aneating disorder, both 121 and in groups. Ruth delivers The Body Project, an evidence-basedintervention that reduces the incidents of eating disorders. Ruth regularly volunteers with the UK’s Leading eating disorder charity, BEAT.
