Intersectional Data Collection

April 30 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Webinar

Facilitated by Georgie Williams (they/them)

Data Ethics of DEI is a webinar designed to explain and explore the complexities around collecting quantitative data within DEI. Within this webinar, we explore how to recognise the unquantifiable facets of marginality and privilege within our data, the importance of language in data collection, and how to action our data insights practically within workspaces and organisations. This webinar will move beyond ideas of additive and subtractable “units” of inequality and consider how an intersectional lens can be implemented in data collection, to the benefit of all parties.
