Online clothing retailer Asos, power firm UK Power Networks (pictured above) and charitable social enterprise Police Now were named on Inclusive Companies’ Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers list for 2022-23.
The list is a national accreditation that can be acquired each year by organisations. Compiled by an advisory panel, it was collated based on each employer’s commitment to equality, inclusion and diversity, which includes age, culture, disability, ethnicity, gender, sexuality and religion, with those featured having provided evidence on topics including recruitment procedures, training, workforce data and a host of diversity-related initiatives.
The top 10 employers on the list were:

- Touchstone Support
- West Midlands Police
- Bupa
- UK Power Networks
- Royal Orthopaedic Hospitals NHS Trust
- Asos
- Hastings Group
- Yorkshire Building Society
Paul Sesay, chief executive officer of Inclusive Companies, said: “Those organisations who have participated submit a great wealth of evidence regarding their inclusive practices, covering a wide range of areas and topics, and it is from this that the experts determine the Top 50 Inclusive employers. It celebrates the best work being done around diversity and inclusivity and it’s only right that businesses are recognised for the effort they’re making and the impact they’re achieving in these important areas.”
